Loved Karen Rose’s QUARTER TO MIDNIGHT. Fierce suspense, a compelling romance, a tightly plotted mystery, an intriguing cast of characters and a Good Dog. Yes, the dog lives! Oh, and the setting is New Orleans. Pure alchemy. (I may have smudged a few pages because I was eating my favorite snack, popcorn, whilst reading).
